Ugly like (bad) slippers, uncomfortable like heels... and fiddly to accomplish, to boot (pun totally intended).
Oh, yeah, I've just got to make me some of these... don't you?
If you want to gape more at this train wreck of knitting, Knitty Gritty has the details of how you, too, can uglify your shoes on their website.
I think I'll join you with those, er, shoes.
Thanks for the suggestion re: the holiday knit blog vs. your personal blog. I think I'll have to lead that kind of double life for the time being.

I'm speechless. Ok...well...I'll say one thing...
Those boots were made for knittin'. hehehe
I couldn't resist 'cause it's either laugh...or cry.
Did you notice they're orange?
Isn't that adding insult to injury????

Icky idea compounded by an ugly color.
(Though your post was quite funny - especially the first sentence.)

I just saw this episode yesterday and sat with my mouth agape. . . I just had to watch the whole thing. Train wreck theory, I guess. :)
p.s. Thanks for the advice on the sewn bind off for my DNA scarf, btw. I will definitely use it in the future, because I often use long-tail cast on. I didn't know that was the matching bind off! Learn something new every day here in knitty blogland, huh? :) Thanks again.

the boots are ridiculous - what is more ridiculous is that I saw boots in a retail shoe store that were knit, I kid you not.
Love the Karaoke yarn you got for the ISE. Which pattern are you going to use? Is it the same weight as Noro Silk Garden? Looks like it from your pic, but you can never really tell.

They look like the witch's feet after Dorothy's house landed on her.
