I really like that sock yarn! (Your socks have much more of a leg than the um, 3? (pair and a half), I've made, so at first I thought the top picture was a finished ankle sock with the second one almost done.)

That's what I love about toe-up socks. If you don't have enough yarn, you can just shorten the leg. No problem! I'd have SSS if the yarn wasn't interesting. Now Koigu has a lot of variegation that I'd continue knitting in it. Koigu... mmmm!!!

Did you see the socks Wendy made using the same yarn? She posted about them a couple of months ago. (That would be too weird if you didn't.) Love those stripes--I bought some after I saw her post. Thanks for the comment on my blog, BTW; I have to agree that the ribbed Chinese Lace sleeves look better with the body.
